My name is Allison Coleman. I love my work as a birth and postpartum doula. I have training and experience as a breastfeeding support counselor. I have spent nine years of my life breastfeeding. I also teach Happiest Baby on the Block classes.  I am certified through Childbirth International and trained with both ALACE and Maternity Wise (in postpartum care).  I am a student of midwifery.  I am certified in both infant and adult CPR.  I have experience working with moms going natural, VBAC clients, epidurals, inductions, and multiples. I have worked at local hospitals, home births, and birthing centers. I also plan on adding childbirth education classes to my services in the future.

I am mom to four great kids, ages 6, 9, 11, and 16. My first two children were born in local birth centers with a midwife attending. Due to pregnancy complications, my third child was born in a hospital with a perionatologist attending. My fourth child was a wonderful planned homebirth with a midwife attending.
