My name is Allison Coleman. I am a single mom to four great kids, ages 5, 8, 10, and 15. My first two children were born in local birth centers with a midwife attending. Due to pregnancy complications, my third child was born in a hospital with a perionatologist attending. My fourth child was a wonderful planned homebirth with a midwife attending.

For many years two of my passions have been breastfeeding and childbirth. I have spent nine years of my life breastfeeding. Several years ago I helped set up and facilitate a breastfeeding group for new mothers thru my midwife’s birth center. I am certified through Childbirth International and trained with ALACE.  I am certified in both infant and adult CPR. I am currently working as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, I also plan on adding childbirth education classes to my services in the future.
